TEACH THE WORD CHOIR

PRACTICE PAGE

Thanks for Joining the Teach the Word 2025 Choir!
We are excited to have you joining the worship team to lead us all in worship!

ABOUT THE CHOIR
The Choir will join the worship team for the afternoon worship time (2pm-2.30pm) ; and also for the closing song of the day (c.4.50pm). The worship team consists of a full band with 4 vocalists on microphones. The Choir is intended to be a backing choir; (not a performance choir) - we will do whatever preparation we can - but at the end of the day, we just want to sing loud and worship Jesus!

PLEASE USE THE VIDEO TO PRACTICE AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!
This video includes the song lyrics and also the arrangements for the choir. Please listen to it as much as you can between now and the conference. You can watch above or use the link: https://youtu.be/ctBBGsuo3eo.

SONG LYRICS
The song lyrics on the video are exactly what you will see on the day. They will appear on a large screen at the back of the hall. The TV is large and the words will be large enough to see from the stage! You won't need to memorise or bring lyrics sheets.

ARRANGEMENTS
The arrangements are set for dynamics with the band. Please note the arrangements designated on the video:
CHOIR DON'T SING:
Choir doesn't sing (but you can still worship!)
SING MELODY:
Whole choir sings the melody
SING MELODY + HARMONY:
Those who are able to sing harmony (alto or tenor); everyone else sing melody!

ON THE DAY
You do not need to arrive early one the day. We will have a preparation meeting during the lunch break to warm up; and have a quick rehearsal!

Also, we will have a Choir Director to direct you regarding the arrangements. Roman Joachym from CC Bristol is an experienced Choir director and will help guide you all along!
