JOIN THE TEACH THE WORD 2026 CHOIR

One Church. One Heart. One Voice.

Last year, a choir joined the worship team for the afternoon worship at Teach the Word — and it was a beautiful thing. We want to do it again in 2026!

We're looking for singers who want to add depth and richness to the corporate worship — not as performers on a stage, but as part of one united body lifting their voices to Jesus. If you love to sing and love to worship, this is for you!

ABOUT THE CHOIR

The choir will join the full worship team — a complete band with four vocalists on microphones — for the afternoon worship session and the closing song of the day. This is not a performance choir. There's no pressure to be polished or professional. We'll do as much preparation as we can together, but at the heart of it, we simply want to sing loud and worship Jesus. You'll be directed on the day by Roman Joachym from CC Bristol — an experienced choir director who will guide you through the arrangements and make the whole experience joyful and straightforward.

WHAT'S THE PLAN?

You don't need to arrive early — just come as you normally would. During the lunch break, we'll gather for a warm-up and a quick run-through before the afternoon begins.

PREPARING BEFORE THE DAY

Once you've signed up, you'll receive a preparation video with the song lyrics and choir arrangements. Listen to it as much as you can before the conference — the more familiar you are with the songs, the more freely you'll be able to worship on the day. Don't worry about memorising anything. Song lyrics will be displayed on a large screen at the back of the hall, clearly visible from the stage. No lyric sheets needed!

QUESTIONS?

We'll set up a WhatsApp group for choir members once you sign up. Or you can email Amber at amberj.vickery@gmail.com.

We'd love to have you with us!
